About Me
• Hometown: Born and raised in Houston, Texas
• Education: University of Houston, Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary studies.
• Teaching Experience: 3 rd year at Albright. One Year at Smith Elementary.
• Educational Philosophy: My beliefs regarding reading instruction are that children need to learn that reading does not have to be a chore in life but rather a reward. It is my goal as an educator to create a learning environment where my students can explore reading in a fun, interactive way. A way that they will be able to carry on with throughout their education and for a lifetime.
What I expect from my students: I expect that all of my students come to class prepared and ready to be part of our literacy building team. I also expect that all students respect themselves and each other in order to foster a welcoming learning community.
