  • Teaching Experience:
  • I also taught 6th/7th/8th Grade English at Damon Junior High School in Damon, Texas for three years.
  • Educational Philosophy:
  • As an educator it is my belief that every student is more than capable of learning. Students should be challenged to think and solve problems as two key components of their education. Teachers should guide students not lecture them. Teachers should not be alone in educating students but their parents, families and the community need to work together to support our children, who are the future.
  • Interests:
  • I love playing and watching baseball. I have cycled across Texas doing the MS150 from San Antonio to Corpus Christi, Frisco to Fort Worth and half of the Houston to Austin rides. I also enjoy reading, traveling and speaking.
  • Family:
  • I have been married for the past nine years to my wife, Becky, and we have a beautiful three year old named Aubrey.
