Originally from the Washington,DC area, I moved to Texas in 1992. I have taught every grade from 1st through 7th and have an extensive background in both Math and Science education. I've held jobs in corporations and associations in their training, development and employee education departments.
Currently, I teach part-time for the University of Houston, Downtown, tutoring young adults to prepare for the verbal and math portions of the SAT, GRE, and GMAT tests. I tutor students, privately, in Algebra and Geometry, as well.
This is my Eleventh Year in Seventh Grade!! Parents, I am your eyes and ears on campus, assisting your children achieve high academic success as they develop great interpersonl skills. Students, I am "Mama Cooper," which means I am here to help you with any subject in school, answer any questions about school, and share my best advice as you make the transition from child to young adult!
